Is Women Empowerment Means Equality ?

The pertinent question is that in patriarchy(especially in India) where do women stand? Without any guise, she does household work- cooking, cleaning, fetching water from distances, caring for children, the sick and the elderly. Women empowerment is not about becoming 'president or celebrity' but it is imperative that women`s care work be given its due. India is 11th from the bottom in the world in women`s labor-force participation rates.
