Books or Movies

At present everybody wants to know things at a faster rate. Technology helps a lot in this. Visual helps better than books to retain knowledge for a long time. It is also scientifically proven that human retains better what they see than what they read.

But most of the time movies cannot teach us every lesson. In that case, books will help you. They teach us more than movies if we are willing to learn from them. The big advantage of reading books is that your brain works more than usual to understand different ideas. In that case, the mind works more than 10%.

If we take examples of movies which are based on books, in that scenario characters are in different shape not the same as books. Understanding movies are better than reading books. Generally, movies are time-consuming but visual effects don`t realize your boredom. But books give us long time enjoyment.  

But if we talk about which one is better in the field of education than I prefer movies over books because students see the incidents on screen with enjoyment and talk about it after it finishes which helps in retaining the lesson for the longest time. But making a movie on each topic is costly. So books also play important role in education.
